    sATURDAY ENRICHMENT ACADEMIES

Vallejo City Unified School District is bringing a wonderful program to your child’s school. On Saturday, January 11th, VCUSD held the first of many Saturday Enrichment Academies. The school sites that participated were Loma Vista, Patterson, Pennycook, Highland, Cooper and Federal Terrace.

VCUSD teachers provided enrichment opportunities for students, and created opportunities for students to make-up missed days of attendance. Students participated in fun enrichment activities planned throughout the day along with academic support, provided by teachers from the participating sites.

Saturday Enrichment Academies are held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., with lunch provided. Students begin and end the day in the multi-purpose room.

If you are interested in your student participating in this free opportunity, please contact the office at your student’s school.
